The ability to find people we don’t know in our organizations by a skill or keyword is always in the top 5 requirements/needs of our clients. Employees can’t know everyone and don’t want to play a game of telephone to track down the right person.
Profiles can change the game; a robust, keyword-rich profile can surface expertise in search results. This saves people time and helps them leverage in-house talent; not to mention getting answers quicker.
As productivity tools go, a great employee profile is pretty hard to beat.
