When Marcus Evans asked me to return to Dubai to conduct training on internal communication, I committed myself to make some improvements. One of the requests of the participants in the last session was to include more case studies from the region.Â
So, I am seeking great case studies of terrific internal communication initiatives from the Middle East. I’m putting out some queries through a number of channels and have a simple survey people can use to share their case studies. If you have one to share, please go to the survey and complete the form. I need your information no later than 30 January, 2009, to be included.
I have also reorganized some of the material, deleted a few things, and am adding a section on communication for different generations. It is an important issue no matter in what part of the world you work. I am also reworking the exercises to focus more on the actual tools – participants wanted more practice with the tools and less theoretical discussion.
So, I look forward to receiving case studies. Might even be able to put some into an article to highlight the great communication work being done in the Middle East. The communicators in the MIddle East are not behind the times (as Western communicators would have you think).
